Hoover Learning Project
Temple Shalom has been given a wonderful learning opportunity. Rabbi Lawrence Hoffman initiated the Canadian Reform Adult Education Academy, which offers adult learning online for small congregations several years ago in memory of his late wife, Gayle.
We encourage everyone to sign up for this free learning opportunity, which you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home on Zoom. Even if you are away, you can participate! Please see the poster below for more information.
In addition, we would like to invite you to learn together as a community for Course 4, entitled “Spirituality,” which takes place Thursday, February 27, Thursday, March 6, and Thursday, March 20, from 6:00-7:30 PM CST. After viewing each class, we will gather on Zoom for an “after talk” to discuss what we have learned from it that evening. Sherry Wolfe Elazar, our Jewish Learning Coordinator, will facilitate these discussions.
